Tsingy de Bemaraha Strict Nature Reserve in Madagascar is one of the highlights of the country and is on the Unesco World Heritage List. It consists of karstic landscapes and limestone uplands cut into impressive 'tsingy' peaks and a 'forest' of limestone needles. Also there are spectacular canyons, rolling hills and rugges peaks and the forests, lakes and mangrove swamps are the habitat for rare and endangered lemurs and birds.
