The Visayas are one of the three major island groups that make up the Philippines. The others are Luzon and Mindanao.
The Visayas includes the major islands of Panay, Negros, Cebu, Bohol, Leyte and Samar. Cebu is the center of commerce and trade in the region while the island paradise of Boracay has become the most famous tourist destination in the region for its beautiful beach.

There are several airports to fly into. Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB) in Cebu is the third most important airport in the country following. Since most international flights connect through Manila, one would need to transfer to Manila Domestic Airport and may get flights from Manila to Cebu with Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific Air.
