i know more than 7 langueges, though some iam not fluent in them but i under stand them, i speak fluently the language that is used by the east africa as a whole.

I think I can provide info about Former African Portuguese Colonies (Cabo Verde, Guine, S. Tomé e Principe, Angola e Moçambique). From the 5 countries I was only in Cabo Verde, but I have access to info and I have friends that can help anyone planning to go to this countries.

I have worked in Somalia and Sudan (1993- 1994) supervising programs for child survival, water and sanitation, immunizations, and food for work. In Angola (1991- 1992) I trained traditional birth attendants and community health workers in nutrition and primary care and oversaw therapeutic and supplemental feeding programs. I also worked in West Africa ,Central America and Colombia with the U.N. (1985- 1991) supervising food for work programs and refugee camps management with a focus on accessing the most vulnerable populations. I speak Spanish, English and I am familiar with Portuguese and Arabic

I have just spent 6 months travelling in Africa as a woman alone, using public transport through Southern and Eastern Africa. I may be able to help with any safety precautions and some ideas on the best ways to get around Africa and understand the culture as well as the fantastic scenery and National parks it has to offer

Travelled for 4 months from Kenya down to South Africa with my brother in 2004. We hitch-hiked and used public transport. Countries visited: Kenya, Tanzania (including Zanzibar), Malawi, Zambia, Namibia and South Africa

I lived and worked in Ghana, West Africa but i travelled in Mali, Burkina Faso and briefly visited Togo so can advise on the region generally, safety issues, language and cultural issues and recommend good places to visit and/or stay.

My wife and I have travelled in our own vehicle through North Africa, the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
