I can help you plan a trip to Ecuador, I lived there for almost a year. I know very well the whole country, but more specifically Cuenca, Guayaquil and the south part of the Amazonia.

I spent 4 weeks in ecuador in jan 2008 - we passed through the whole country and visited cities like Quito, Tena, Banos, Vilcabamba, obligatory was the visit of El midad del mundo and for sure the volcanos chimborazo and cotopaxi, the lagune Quilotoa as well as the cascadas near banos (and its volcano tungurahua), the jungle near tena and the country-side. I liked all the colourful markets of the inhabitants..most of the time we went by bus (quit good organised - however be aware of robberies...). People are very nice, helpful and polite...Beautyful country with lot of treasure!!

I have a pretty good knowledge of central Ecuador, specifically Banos and Puyo, as well as the surrounding areas and towns such as Quito, Ambato, Riobamba and Arajuno. Also if any one needs any help or advice about volunteer projects with animals or with people then I'll be happy to help.

I can help with all matters pertaining to Galapagos and Ecuador. I reside in Puerto Ayora, Galapagos. I am British and have been living here for 3 years. Drop me a line, Galapagos is easier and cheaper than you may believe.

I lived in Ecuador for nearly three years, and worked for a travel agency there. I can help answer most questions. I am online a lot so I can normally reply quickly.
