I have visited Nepal 6 times. This has included trekking in the Annapurnah Ranges and travelling to Pokhora and staying in Kathmandu. I lived for 6 months in Sauraha, Chitwan and taught at a local Orphanage. My husband is Nepalese and we have many family there. I come from a perspective as a traveller and as a foreigner. Through much time and mistakes I have found the best places to eat, great places to stay, no matter what your budget and off the beaten places to go to.

Trekking and Hiking holidays are adventurous past times for people who want some ‘real fun’ in their hard earned break. Trekking and hiking, a journey on foot to mountainous areas is similar to hiking, except treks cover a greater distance. Nepal offers a range of both technical and nontechnical walks across its beautifully diverse terrain. Due to its growing popularity among hikers and trekkers, Nepal at present is witnessing a boom in the tourism industry for trekking and hiking.
