Brand new Hostel! Built in late 2010, we are the newest Hostel in Town, with brand new rooms and facilities to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The hostel, built in rustic style and simple, offers two bedrooms (with private bathrooms) cozy with balcony and hammocks. The dorms have facilities for up to 12 people with ceiling fan, bathroom and balcony network.

Nestled on the ocean front Aquario is situated about a 7 minute walk from the Abraa Centre and being the only hostel a footstep away from some of the most beautiful beaches Ilha Grande has to offer.

Hostel Holandes is just located at 10 minutes from the pier and 5 from the beach. It is the best option to get in contact with the nature.

Ilha Grande is located on the south of the State of Rio de Janeiro, in the Ilha Grande Bay. Abraão is the main village in the island settled 11 nautic miles away from the main land. It´s easy to get to the island, just take one of the ferries that go to Abraão Village, the major port of the Island. The ferries leave from Mangaratiba or Angra dos Reis. The ferry company Barcas S.A. does the transfer of 1:30 long. The crossing to the island is safe as the sea is mainly calm. There are not many daily transfers so it is recommended to arrive to the port in advance to avoid congestion, specially on holidays and long weekends. Boats and schooners also do the crossing between the main land and the Island, the schedule varies so please consult us in advance. From Angra dos Reis you will certainly find one of these boats going towards the island. Private vehicles are forbidden so cars must be left on the main land. Mangaratiba and Angra dos Reis have safe parking lots near the piers. You can also ask for our private pick up service

Unsere Pousada liegt ruhig und idyllisch an einem kleinen Bach, nur 5 Minuten vom Strand entfernt; in gastfreundlicher Atmosphäre und zu einem guten Preis bieten wir dir alles, was du zu einem entspannten und erholsamen Aufenthalt auf der Insel brauchst – Unterbringung in sauberen Zwei- bis Vierbettzimmern, alle mit Ventilator und zum grössten Teil mit eigenem Bad , einen gemütlichen Aufenthaltsraum mit Fernseher und DVD-Player und die Nutzung unserer voll ausgestatteten Küche. Unsere Terasse in tropischem Ambiente mit Pool läd zu entspannten Stunden ein. Handtücher und Bettwäsche sind selbstverständlich inklusive sowie Internetzugang und ein ausgiebiges Frühstück. Desweiteren bieten wir einen Wäsche-Service an und eine kleine Bar mit Getränken und Snacks. Auf Wunsch organisieren wir deine An-/Abreise aus Rio de Janeiro (inkl. Abholung von einer Adresse deiner Wahl, z.B. vom Flughafen oder deinem Hostel/Hotel) und helfen dir bei deiner Freizeitgestaltung vor Ort.
