Mona Lisa Hostel

NO CHEAP! NO CLEAN! NO FRIENDLY! NO NICE! I MEAN THAT THIS IS THE WORST HOSTEL EVER! STARTING, FOR THE RECEPTIONIST THAT IS A RUDE GUY, HE DON'T EVEN SPEAK ITALIAN OR A GOOD ENGLISH, THE COMMUNICATION IS TOUGHT AND THE MANNERS ARE BAD... HE EVEN TRY TO MAKE US PAY A NIGHT CANCELLED WITH ANTICIPATION, PROBABLY TO KEEP THE MONEY FOR HIMSELF. ... more

La Controra Hostel Rome

I booked a bed in a 2-bed dorm for 3 nights. The room was very spacious and clean, quite light if you consider it looks out onto a well-kept courtyard. The private bathroom was modern, pretty and clean. The beds were very 'creaky' though, every time you moved, the bed would protest. Not so great for a dorm. ... more
