Where to stay in Barcelona

Barcelona

The Roman Empire founded "Barcino" in the 1st century BC and the city has been a meeting point for different cultures ever since. Barcelona saw the rise and fall of the Visigoths, Moors and Franks, eventually becoming a part of Castile in 1714.

St Christopher's Barcelona

Very nice and calm place to stay and exploring Barcelona. Little bit problem was pretty near street, where cars, buses and motocycles riding every night. So, if you could breathe fresh air and left terrace doors opened, noise from the street should be inside the room. We stayed in second floor, maybe other rooms in higher floors are calmer. ... more

Compact rooms, clean bathrooms, hot showers, wifi- everything you need in a hostel. Common lounge and bar help make it so that you can meet people, and it was fun that the hostel organized activities both for sightseeing during the day and going out at night. Good location but not amazing, about a ten minute wall to las ramblas. ... more

It might be a bit noisy, as walls seem to be paper thin, but I would say this is the best value you can get for your money. I slept in a clean individual room for 13.

Very very nice people there. The place is very close to Ramblas, but quiet and nice. All in all, for me it's the best hostel in BCN yet.
