Walter the owner can speak English, French, Swiss and German. He was helpful in getting taxis and could answer your questions. The price was cheap--great. Location was only 2-3 blocks from the main Colonial Zone Street where many tourist spots in Santo Domingo are. We walked to the sites. The hotel was clean. ... more

This is a convenient small, clean, economical place to stay. Being in the city it was a bit noisy for this country boy but inner city dwellers probably would not notice. The owner is Euro and speaks English, Spanish and I suspect German. Most helpful and friendly. Not the Hilton of course but very good value. ... more
