This is a great place to be and the Palestinian welcome is wonderful! Staying in Bethlehem is a great alternative to overpriced Jerusalem, and it's only half an hour away by bus 21 from central town. Much calmer here too. I would highly recommend travellers to the Holy Land to give staying in Bethlehem a go! ... more
