We stayed a couple of days at Sila Resort in April, in a double fan room. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly and made our stay very pleasant. James, With only 4 weeks, I think you should just do a loop of Thailand, down into Malaysia and end up in Singapore. Perhaps Ayutthaya, Sukhothai, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, back down to Udon Thani, Korat, BKK, Samui, Krabi, Hat Yai, into Malaysia, leaving 3-4 days for Singapore. Good Luck. ...
