Cairo

Cairo, the capital of Egypt, is an amazing city full of life and movement, and it is that way almost 24 hours every day, with the noisy honking of horns, children playing in the streets and merchants selling their wares and services. And here, the Egyptians are most at home in this powerful, modern and ancient city.

The good : Great location. Friendly staff....some with very good sense of humour. Large room with good shower, air con and view. The not so good : A bit pushy on their own tours. They'd have you organised right down to where you wipe your bottom in Aswan if they could. Stand firm! 8 o'clock breakfast sometimes not available till 9 o'clock. ... more

You are initially put off by the fact that the taxi cannot drop you at the door because the Sherif Street is a one way street.
