It is odd to arrive at an international port that is over 3,860 metres high. But that is how high Puno is located. This small town has an odd mixture of international port, tourist centre and Andean meeting place. Being the only easy way to access Lake Titicaca on the Peruvian side the town attracts many tourists.

All the staff were very helpful. They tried to help us but we didn't have hot shower in the morning. As it was very cold the warm shower didn't very help unfortunately... You can choose the breakfast between American or Continantal but you only get scrumble egg as an extra for American one nothing anymore. ... more
