Zermatt

Zermatt is a town in the Visp district in the German speaking part of Valais Canton (Wallis) in Switzerland. It's a popular tourist destinations, both in winter and summer and has a population of just under 6,000. The village is situated at the end of Mattertal at an altitude of 1,620 metres above sea level.

A basic and easy living place with easy access to both the main lift and town. By far the cheapest thing in Zermatt. Showers are hot and decently clean.
