Cochin( now referred to as Kochi) is located on the west coast of India in the naturally beautiful state of Kerala. The city which is part of Ernakulam district is bounded by the Arabian Sea in the west and the Western Ghats on the east and is often referred to as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea”.

I wouldn't stay here again. The owner double booked my room and then gave me another smaller room for a reduced price 800 rupees. I found another place to stay after one night. it is in a good location but there are plenty of other better options available. look around when you get there. This place is very friendly, basic but very nice. A 5 minute walk from the town, but is excellent value, and can arrange lots of keralan tours for you. We would come back here definately, but the rooms were a little too hot in March! ... more
