Mount Fuji is one of the best known natural features of Japan and is conveniently located in Chubu region, Honshu, west of the capital Tokyo. It is 3,776 metres high and the walk up to the summit is tough but require no special climbing skills.

We spent a quiet new years celebrating in the down stairs living area and then arose to watch the sunrise from the onsen on the top floor looking out over Mt Fuji. It was fabulous. Japan in two weeks
I arrive in Japan on the 29th April where I will be I will be travelling for two weeks. I've got no route planned, there seems to much to see ans do. I'm interested to visit mount Fuji tho. Are you buying a Japanese rail pass? ...
