I really like 5 Elements, but there were a few problems that while easily fixed might make your stay not as comfortable if you plan to stay more than a night or two. Really a nice place to stay and genuinly recommended. The rooms look new, are very spacious and have little balconies. I struggled to find the place as it is on a 'pedestrian' river street, right at the top where there is almost no more activity. Train/bus - which is better for scenary from Kunming-Lijiang
