Cusco

Despite being Peru's main tourist hub, Cusco (also known as Cuzco or Qusqu) still manages to retain its infamous grandeur and delicate beauty. Set against the backdrop of an all mighty cultural historical past, Cusco now serves as an excellent base for exploring one of the world's oldest empires and is a definite must see on any visit to Peru.
