PLEAS RECPECT THE AGE LIMIT: 18 TO 45 years old, Essaouira Hostel is perhaps the nicest hostel you will ever stay in! Welcome to 'Hotel California'; you can check in any time, but you will never want to leave!

Essaouira along the central western coast of Morocco is a laid-back and peaceful place (no traffic within the huge walled area), lots of cafes in squares to lounge around and drink mint tea and just soak up the atmosphere. You can walk everywhere in Essaouira as it is relatively small.

Great relaxed place. rooms are much cleaner than most hostels we have stayed in! no breakfast as advertised on the website but the rest makes up for it. Fantastic little hostel! Unassuming, possibly a little difficult to find, but when you do, it's a hidden oasis right in the middle of the medina. Clean cosy rooms, free wifi, fireplace and a library of guidebooks. Make sure you go up to the roof top for a drink at sunset or check it out at sunrise. Such great value- would definately go back :) ... more
