The Dead Sea is a low-lying sea in the border region of Israel and Jordan. The surface and shores are 423 metres below sea level, making it the lowest point on Earth on land. The sea itself drops to 377 metres below the surface and it's the saltiest body of water anywhere on the planet, with about one third salinity.

I enjoyed my stay and it is really good value for money. I did not like the area where we could swim in the Dead Sea and travelled with the Egged Bus to Ein Bokek to swim.
