Very quiet and peaceful setting for this lovely hostel. Electricity and heat, but no running water. Not a issue for dirnking or cooking - the well works great - but if you want to shower you need to use the very acceptable outdoor bladder with boiled water. Emilie was soooo incredible. She just went above and beyond what anyone could expect at a hostel. She gave unbelievably good advice about the Skyline Trail. She also gave us a ride to the trailhead. She was chatty and friendly and made a beautiful fire to keep watch on. She treated us as people and not tourists which was so refreshing. ... more
