Piran is an extremely picturesque small Italianate city on the Adriatic coast of Slovenia. It is one of Slovenia's four coastal cities, including Izola, Koper, and Portoroz. It's Italian styling is due to its proximity to the Italian border and once belonged to Italy. The boat harbor is full of small colorful fishing boats.
