Nova Friburgo
Nova Friburgo is a city in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro and has about 180,000 inhabitants. It is located about 135 kilometres from Rio and was one of the affected cities of the January 2011 rains and mudslides, causing over 200 deaths here.
