Maple Leaf Inn Shuhe

I can only say that had it not been for the Maple Leaf Inn and the excellent hospitality of Wil and Anna our trip into Southern China would have had little of merit. Sleepy Inn Lijiang

Great place to stay about 10km from Lijiang central on the fringe of another old town Shuhe. The staff are wonderful and its one of those little places you just want to hang out in all day. The rooms are awesome (the bed and duvet are amazing!) but there is no door on the bathroom so squeamish people probably won't be overjoyed. ... more

We are here on our second day in the town of Lijiang. Its a pretty old place, most of the town is over 3-4 centuries old. It has been very relaxing. I stayed here twice, once in a dorm of 6 and another time in a dorm of 12. The hostel is very basic and I think you could find better for the same price.

The stuff were very helpful and friendly. The beds were horribly hard, witch was the worst thing about this place. It was quite loud, but this might be anywere in the old town.
