Asuncion is the capital and largest city in Paraguay with about 1,3 million people living in the city and 1,8 million in the metropolitan area. It is located in the south central part of the country, near the border with Argentina and it is one of the oldest cities in South America, with people living here since almost 500 years.

The hostal is in a very good location, close to the city center and with excellent public transport facilites. The hostel staff are very friendly and helpful, I owe a lot to them for helping me out in a very difficult situation. It is definitely a perfect place to make new friends. Am nächsten Tag geht es schon wieder raus aus Paraguay . Ein Bus von Asuncion 6 Stunden nach Resistencia , Argentinien. Diesmal wird beim Grenzübertritt ganz genau geschaut.
