Excellently located in central Melbourne, especially for eateries on Degraves St and National Galleries. Rooms were good value and clean, but not well lit and no electrical sockets, although reception gladly charge things up for you. Also, walls between rooms don't reach the ceilings so noise from other rooms is more audible. ... more

i had a wonderful 8 nights stay at Elephant Backpackers. I thought the service and cleanliness was great. The bathrooms were cleaned at least twice a day if not more. The kitchen was also good. I did not use the kitchen except to make a cup of tea and generally I thought it was in very good order. ... more
