The Isle of Mull, or just Mull, is the second largest island of the Inner Hebrides. It is difficult to describe Mull's shape, so have a look at a map! The long peninsula stretching roughly west-south-west nearest the mainland coast south of Oban is the Ross of Mull and leads to Fionnphort, where the Iona ferry makes its short journey.
