Location is great, staff are fab & great fun, rooms need alot of updating & cleaning but you pay for what you get. Breakfast is great value & just what you need to soak up the alcohol. The male staff didn't told me the bed was booked so after 2 night i stayed, he just asked me to checked out. It's not right and inappropriate... but the whole atmosphere, the fellow travellers there brought a very nice friendly atmosphere.. ... more
The day i checked they kept asking me to change bed for few times.... The second day, when i wanted to pay, but the recep waved my staying money thus give a free night due to their misorganized and inconvenience caused. So this is fair enough and it showed their responsibity and conscience... The others also very friendly and chatted... :) ... more

Im looking at staying a night in exeter in the summer on the way down to Newquay - and have looked at staying in the uni due to the price and whathave you, but wanted to know if anyone has stayed in Mardon Hall - (whether as a visitor or while at uni there) and could tell me what the rooms are like etc ...
