The location of the hostel is excellant...close to the historical section of Yaraslavl and not far from where you can catch a bus to the train station. There is also a sign out front so it is easy to find. The hostel itself is a basic, no-frills hostel, but very clean and the staff were friendly.

Unfortunately this place is pretty rundown. Fixtures and fittings are in pretty poor shape and there are cracks and peeling paint in various rooms. It is a very basic hostel with a rather small kitchen. The room was very hot and stuffy - air conditioning or a fan in summer is really essential, especially with all the mosquitoes. I think the staff were doing their best to help with limited resources, but only one seemed to speak English. The best point is it's proximity to the railway station and there are many reasonable eating places around the area. I'm pretty sure you could find much better value in St Peyersburg.
