Cardiff, Wales
The location of the Cardiff Apartment was excellent and central to the city shopping and transport and the general ambience cheery and bright. It was adequately furnished but not entirely suitable for three adults requiring separate beds. There was one double bed in the bedroom and two lounge chairs which became single beds. These had to be extensively rearranged to fit the needs of the three guests. There was also inadequate bedding to accommodate three adults in separate beds (as it was summer we coped).
Cleanliness was an issue as there were containers with cigarette butts on the balcony and a used drink bottle left behind by previous guests. Also the washing machine was inoperable and full of smelly water and mould. The agents Charlie and Abbi kindly offered the facility of their Backpackers to assist which meant considerable time was spent organising the washing trip a good 20 minute walk away as we did not have our own transport.
The remaining facilities were adequate despite a lumpy lounge noisy fridge and lack of tea towels (after the washing machine experience we avoided the dishwasher) but we did enjoy our stay despite some of the above as these things could be easily remedied.
As mentioned the agents Charlie and Abbi were helpful and friendly and we were contacted by phone the day before arrival with the key collection details. Cardiff is a delightful city.
