I can't believe that this website (Travellerspoint.com) had the nerve to send me a link to ask me to actually review this place!!!
When we got there the motel knew nothing about our stay or the prebooked room OR the deposit I had paid the damn website. Nothing was available - so we had to go next door to the Econolodge (same company as derrick) They also knew nothing about us - hence I lost my prepaid deposit as I had to rent and pay for the Econolodge for 5 days, which ended up costing me more than TWICE what the "pre-orginised/deposit paid" derrick was supposidly gonna cost. I was too tied to argue after a 10 hour flight and a total number of hours being awake exceeding 25 because of the UK/Canada time difference.
I can't comment on the derrick as we didn't actually stay there - but I will say to anyone thinking of travelling to canada from the UK to never NEVER use this bloody website to try and book a room....
