La ciudad de Faro misma es también un lugar interesante, ya que cuenta con patrimonio histórico. Cuenta también con mucha animación, en parte debido a la constante afluencia de turistas de todos los rincones del mundo. Desayuno incluido en el precio. Se requiere el carnet de socio de la asociación Hostelling International. Los portugueses pueden comprarlo directamente en cualquier albergue juvenil.
