The Youth hostel 'M. Spagnoli' is housed in a completely restructured, building of historical importance. In fact the original tower, still intact, was used in medieval times as a 'town gate' for the payment of duties.

The Hostel is centrally located in the historic centre of Perugia, and resides in the historic palace of the family Borgia-Mandolini.
