Surf the net in your room for free or the waves that pound the beaches of Porto and Gaia or walk out and discover the joys of Portos nightlife - it's all there on the doorstep. As of September Porto is one of the recognised spots in Europe for Surfing and Bodyboarding and as the flights get cheaper the surfing gets better. We can hook you up with our partners at Surfs-Cool.com for lessons for those who need them and equipment for those who don't at incredibly low rates. At the Yellow House we hope that our guests will enjoy the space and not want to leave!. The house has an unique atmosphere and we want you to add to that. It's friendly, warm and relaxed, a place to wind down and wind up! And our breakfast served between 08.30 and 10.30 am will do you for the day - we get fresh organic produce from our farm close to Porto and will set a feast on the table to get you on your way! We have 6 rooms to choose from: 2 double or private rooms, 2 mixed dorms for 6 with balconies and seperate WC's and 2 further dorms for 8 which also work well for families. We have 5 showers and 6 WC's in total. The lounge is really comfortable with Free WiFi, cable TV with good movie and sports channels for football obsessives, books, games, stereo and iPod docking station. Our kitchen has everything you'll need to store and cook - it's the centre of the house and has seating for 16 around a big old table going on to the garden where you can lie on the grass or sway in a hammock in the shade. Take a book, put your headphones in and get some sun!

In realtà siamo un gruppo di amici che ha sempre avuto l'abitudine di viaggiare e dormire a casa di amici e allo stesso modo di dare ospitalità ad amici a casa nostra. L'idea di un turismo basato su un tipo di accoglienza dove il comfort famigliare è la caratteristica più importante. Un posto dove non ci sono dipendenti e sono i proprietari stessi ad accogliere gli ospiti, nello stesso modo in cui farebbero a casa propria, rendendo l'ambiente uno specchio della personalità e del modo genuino di vivere di questa città. Sperando che ogni ospite si identifichi un po' con noi e con i motivi per cui pensiamo che sia un'ottima idea visitare Porto e vivere un pochino di quello che viviamo noi qui. Fantastico per tutti i backpackers, nel centro di Porto, l'Andarilho è un ostello di basso profilo, perfetto per il viaggiatore indipendente e per i piccoli gruppi. Vi offriamo un'atmosfera intima e amichevole nell'aura di un palazzo dei primi del '900, con un grande salotto, una cucina completamente equipaggiata e un giardino di 200 m2.. Andarilho è il posto migliore per farvi incontrare altri viaggiatori. Situato nel centro della città, l'ostello è vicino alle maggiori attrazioni come il mercato di Bolhão, le piazze Batalha, Cordoaria e Liberdade e la torre Clérigos, tutto è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi, mentre in soli 20 minuti potrete visitare l'affascinante quartiere Ribeira, sulla sponda del fiume, e le cantine del vino di Porto. A 200 metri dalla fermata del metro di Bolhão, che collega direttamente l'aeroporto e la principale stazione dei treni, non c'è posto migliore dove stare se viaggiate in treno o aereo.
