All pretty seedy but some beautiful scenery of cocnut groves and the Arabian Sea. Saw a medieval fort right on the coast. We actually stipped at Uddal, which is where our resort is. Mangalore to Madikeri by bus
Checked out early by 8am. Taxi to Mangalore main bus depot. Took a deluxe bus (4hr trip) up to Madikeri, a hill station. The trip was pretty bumpy.
