Rain. Detour from Bahaus Hostel straight to the coast. Walked to the ferries. Group split up and went with Travis, Evan and Brendon. Took Tram to the end of the line then as no ferry took bus to end of the line at the Upper Bosphorus in Sariyer. Had bread and apple tea then took bus south. Took ferry to Asian side and ate a 2 Lira (80pence) chicken shish kebab (was good) then saw a couple of mosques. Returned during an amazing sunset. I stopped off for an amazing kebab (see below). At hostel it was free sausages and bread night and the guys who run it said I could have a free bottle of Turkish wine. I opted for Red and it was delicious. We then went to “Backpackers” to see the UEFA Cup match Galastasay v. Hamburg over an EFES beer. Hamburg won 3-2
