Fall Bike Week at Myrtle Beach

C and I rode down to Myrtle Beach yesterday for the last day of Fall Bike Week! We met up with his parents and had a fantastic day! (Except for the lunch restaurant, eh? hehehe Sheesh!) I took my regular camera, but when I whipped it out for the first picture, I realized that it had no memory card!!! So the pics we do have were taken with C's new cell phone.

SuckBangBlow... we were there at around 1pm on Sunday of the last day, so it was really dead. Everyone was already gone, or recovering from Saturday night.

It was a FABULOUS trip... I was 21 years old, and my father worked for a German joint venture automotive company there.
I flew into Hong Kong (and this was before it reverted back to Britain) and spent many days there, shopping in the markets and soaking up the surroundings. I wish I had my photos here with me, but once they arrive, I will find a scanner and add them to my photo gallery.
Next stop was Shanghai. I was amazed at the third-worldness of it all.
Last, and maybe most amazing, was Beijing. I visited the Ming Tombs and spent a lot of time climbing the Great Wall at Badaling. Those are among my favorite photos!
