I'm about to embark on the first mammoth journey in my lifetime! In April I'm flying to Perth, Australia to travel the length and breadth of the vast continent, on my own, accompanied by a video camera.

My plan is to record a video diary of the places I visit and the people I meet and put it up on youtube as I go. I'd love any pointers in terms of places to go and things to see, and if you know of somewhere I could stay, that would be amazing! :)

I have a burning passion for music; be it latin, breakbeat, folk, electro, funk, bossa nova, blues, soul, drum & bass, give me a voluptuous bassline and a kick ass drum beat anyday! :)

This leads me to the second part of my plan - to find fresh bands on my travels around Australia and record interviews/sessions with them and upload them to youtube. If you know of any bands/musicians in the genres I've listed above get in touch :)
