I thought that Japan was really cool, with Mount Fuji and other stuff. I wouldn't rate it in my top five favorite countries so far, partly because I don't exactly like the food. I thought it was really interesting that Japan is just an archipelago (group of islands) that has about everything on it. It sort of seems like it is its own continent almost. I also really liked the culture of Japan mostly in the places in Kobe that we went to. I thought that the traditions, like worshiping at a statue, were neat. I liked how they would go up to a statue ring a bell, then throw money in front of a statue, bow twice, then clap twice, after the claps, they hold the bow down while wishing for good things to happen, put their head up after wishing, and then finally bow then leave the statue.
