About Gixer:

I'm 37, single, childfree by choice, and thanks to my small business that I've been running for 3 years, I now have the financial freedom to satisfy my itchy feet! After attending Burning Man in Nevada in 2008 I am determined now to see as much of the world as possible - and NOT in a tacky touristy way, but in a way that lets me see the REAL country, not what the tour operators WANT you to see.

Hobbies:

I am a sci fi costumer and posess a full set of Star Wars Sandtrooper armour, and a movie accurate Ghostbuster outfit and Proton pack. I am a member of the 501st Legion, a worldwide costuming club and I attend events all over the UK, from corporate or celebrity events down to kids school fetes.

I love WW2 aviation, XBox, Sci fi films, gardening, motorsport, nature, and warm summer evenings. I am an open water diver and would also like to learn to kite surf and snowboard.

Favourite places:

Black Rock City (Burning Man), Western Australia, Lake Tahoe in the summer, the Norfolk countryside in summer, the remote highlands of Scotland.
