Hoppy

I am basically a travel bum. I like adventure and participating in most any kind of outdoor activity that makes me sweat. I have a place in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and a treehouse on Playa San Miguel in Costa Rica. I like the excitement of basic travel - off the beaten path. And, I am always thrilled when I "discover" a new natural area, culture, song, critter, flower, bird or ?? out there. I have destinations but I keep my eyes open, drift with curiosity and flow with serendipity. I like to make a difference by collaborating with folks who believe in the Leave No Child Indoors approach to teaching kids about the natural world.
