So far Prague has been okay.. It has been raining here most of the day and its very cold. So we stayed inside alot. This morning we visited the Old Town and its really something out of midevil times. Cobblestone streets, little shops and even a midevil torture museum! (We are going to go back tomorrow to check that out) We went inside St. Nicholas church today. It was built in the 1700 to replace a church that had burned down that dates back to in the 1200s. Much of the church was restored during the second world war. Which was interesting after, after seeing all the destruction of Berlin. I guess all of the best artists and architects flew to Prague during the war.
Walking around Prague is really like stepping back in time. Being from the States I am not used to seeing towns that can date back to before the Magna Carta was written. Its impressive.
