After a 2 and a half day road trip from Winnipeg we arrived at our new home. It is a beautiful old house in a super nice neighborhood, I'm extremely happy that we lucked out! Our landlord Maria is also very sweet and helpful. After unloading all of our stuff we took a trip to Loblaws to get a cartload of groceries that have only lasted about 4 days *sob*. We also picked up a microwave, toaster oven and some other staples from Walmart so we could eat and start setting up. I crashed at about 11 exhausted from moving in and lack of a couch or internet.

Sunday morning, the Pyl's came to get us and we went for our first IKEA experience. It was really exciting, and busy. We bought and entertainment unit and a coffee table plus a curtain to seperate our room... Then we went and picked up a futon from Walmart and spent the rest of the afternoon setting everything up. Again I crashed early because we still didn't have internet set up.
