We´ve done a lot since our last update. We are getting really good at zipping around on the collectivos with the locals. First stop in Bolivia was a sleepy little town on the edge of Lake Titicaca called Copacabana. We took a boat trip over to the Isle of Sol and walked from one end of the Island to the other. The locals were all getting sick on the boat and chewing coca leaves. The scenery was fab with locals walking their llamas through the narrow streets and doing the washing in the streams.
It took us ages to get to La Paz as we were behind the President and were not allowed to overtake. He seems very popular, all the locals were along the roadside with their flags. They don´t like the Americans tho, the ambassedor has been kicked out! La Paz was a busy city but had some charm with narrow cobbled streets. We found an English pub and got our fix for home comfort food to keep us going for a while. Had a couple of days here to see the sights then headed off into the Yungas (r
