About LizaBrooks:
Well I'm 25 years old, in 2006 i graduated from RMCS cranfield university getting a 2.1 HONS in Mechanical Engineering and management.
I then went on to start my Doctorate in advanced Snowboard design in conjunction with the company i jointly formed True Snowboards. It an Engineering doctorate so i had to do an MBA at the same time which i have now finished and have a lot more time on my hands for travelling :D
I love my job its the most amazing job in the world, I get to work with amazing people everyday and experiance new things all the time. The people I meet in my job are so inspiring either both academically, my peers at university, and for their sporting abilities, the riders on the Junior team we sponsor are prime examples. I am so proud of them and the way the represent me and my company is a honour and they are the most rewarding part of my job.
I also work as a motivational lecturer for the Engineering Technology Board and STEM. I love inspiring the next generation of young scientists and engineers :-p
Hobbies:Snowboarding, taking pretty pictures, music, driving, dancing, socialising, travelling...duh!
Favourite places:I love anywhere snowy my favourite resort is Morzine in the Portes De Soile on the French/Swiss border.
Other than snowy places l love Australia (although i have snowboarded there :)) I went in 2005 for their winter and its been the most amazing trip of my life, i havent really travelled anywhere else much, been to ibiza and Faliraki :D I have also travelled to Eygpt and went on a honeymoon with my friend Alison...well there was a bombing and the holiday was super cheap to a 5* hotel on a private island can you blame us...??? In 2007 I went on a road trip around the USA which was pretty sick:D
This year 2009 I set myself the challenge to visit EVERY country in Europe I have not yet been to.
So far I have done:
UK, France, Guernsey, Jersey, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Czech Republic, Norway, Spain, Andorra, Vatican City, Greece and Ireland
This summer I am going on a Charity road trip to the following new places...
Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Ukraine, Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Turkey, Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, Serbia, Bosnia, Slovenia, San Marino, Monaco, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg.
I think that clearly kicks ass!

It was a really early start for me with the BBC filming as I needed to get to LHR for 7am. I also needed a hire car as mine wasn't big enough. George at TV6 arranged for me to pick up a vauxhall Astra saturday morning and then use that early on the sunday. I picked it up thanks to mz brother and Jo and was quite scared as it went bloody quick! it was a petrol SRi sport so much quicker than my little run about!
Early sunday morning I got up and headed over to Hethrow which is just over an hour. I needed to stop at Reading services for a expresso though as I was really tired by that point. Sadly the staff there burnt the coffee and then di't know how to put my AA discount through on the till and I had to show them, fortunately I used to work in a moto services so knew how to do it.
I had parking prebooked in the business park and it was really easy to find which was great. Then a short bus ride and I was in the terminal. I had a bit of a wait
