Is Africa as beautiful as they say?

Hey I haven't traveled much but Im hoping to once I get out of school. The place i would most like to go to is Africa, I think it would be awesome to volunteer over there and help people in need. The geography of Africa sounds so beautiful too. Im studying it in school and I’ve fell in love with its beauty. Im just not sure if I should travel there. Im a little scared because if the rebels but I think I will get over my fear and go there for the people. If any one would like to say something to help me out that’s great thanks bye

What is the Best way to eco-travel to Africa? When I get there what are the best places to go to? How long is a flight there? are they expensive?
