Beijing Hotel review: Tianhaiyuan International Courtyard Hotel

Overall, this is not a bad place to stay. The rooms are nice and the location is ok (quite close to subway). The staff is quite helpful, although their English is very limited. Don't expect much of the 'courtyard' experience however. It can be quite noisy too and although the bath room is clean the smell of the drain is dreadful. For this price, one may also expect daily cleaning of the rooms and clean towels. A better option is therefore the Ping An Fu hotel located on the main street around the corner (Dongsi Shitiao). No courtyard, but a good and nice looking hotel somewhere between midrange and top-end for the same price.
