A couple of weeks in Tassie. Drove Sydney to Melbourne. Got on the boat (with car) at 7pm - cruised through the night - arrived Devonport 7am. A week in Hobart and SE corner, then 10 days towing a hired caravan up the middle and NW/W/SW coasts. Missed the East coast altogether - but keen to go back and enjoy it sometime. Highlights - bushwalking Cradle Mountain/Dove Lake, Arthur River, Eagle Hawk Neck, Remarkable Cave, Convict history, good waves, solitude, Franklin River, Bronte Park feast and open fire.

Lived here (Sydney and NSW South Coast) most of my life. Have travelled & surfed a lot of the Oz coast (Noosa to Kalbarri). I appreciate how good it is to get local knowledge and give a bit back. Love meeting people willing to get out there. Love the outdoors. Pretty familiar with the Sydney to Melbourne coastal stretch.
