Punta Arenas Hostel review: Blue House I

We booked at Blue House, but when we arrived, we were told there was no room there, and we were taken down the road to Blue House II. (We will say that in our quick look at Blue House I it looked rather nice, much better than we received at Blue House II - the woman that took us down to the other place seemed very nice also).

Unfortunately Blue House II was much worse. The room was totally internal - the only 'window' was to the hallway. The man who was running it when we arrived didn't acknowledge us, continuing to tap away at his computer. The room stank. A woman who came along later to take our details was much nicer - but by that time we were pretty down on the place.

Seville Guesthouse review: Hostal Florida

First a warning - our booked first-floor double room was very dark with no real window, so we asked about a different room, and were able to upgrade to the triple upstairs for only a few Euros extra a night - from this point on it was smooth sailing! This room was much brighter and larger, the staff were happy to answer any questions, with 24 hour reception (and cheap water/drinks are avail). Easy walk to all Seville sights, a few blocks to the station where the airport bus ends (also close to buses to Algeciras etc). Beautiful Seville gardens very close by.
Seville is amazing, enjoy the orange trees and make sure you visit the Alcazar (get an audio guide) - brilliant! Lots of nice cheap tapas places too in the pretty old area of the city...
