About PirateDani:

Not really much to tell really. Lead a very normal life. Confirmed Browncoat (and if you dont know what that means, well, shame on you)and science freak. (I dissect dead things... oh wait, its my job!) And then there is SCUBA diving, getting all wet just to see some fishys. oh, and I work in a school. Its not all bad. I get 14 weeks holiday every year (unpaid before you get really jealous) Bit of a Coke Cola feind. And I love gadgets, lots and lots of shiny gadgets. I simply couldnt live without the internet, well, I could, but it would be like far too much work. I would actually have to go outside to go shopping! Not really much else to say, other than who the heck are you and why are you reading this drivel?

Favourite places:

Devils Bridge, The Gower, Wales
The deck of the Thistlegorm (-25m)
At home, in bed, asleep.

woah, I have decided the Day Sails are fine if you never been sailing before, but a real let down if you have.
In fact, doing a day sail is a FANTASTIC introduction to the whole shindig. It really gives you a feel for the whole thing. Trouble is, they fit 2 days worth of training and another day of sailing into 8 hours, and trust me, it was WAY too short. But don't get me wrong. The perm crew keep you really busy what with safety briefings, drills, actually sailing, eating, photo opportunities and stuff. I had nearly forgotten how annoying it was to keep putting on and taking off oilies and harness or how weird it was trying to go to the loo on a moving vessel (i can never get used to that)
